What a brilliant experience for our KS1 and KS2 children today!
Our pupils stepped back in time to explore the incredible story and legacy of the Windrush Generation through an immersive workshop filled with storytelling, drama, music, role-play and historical discovery.
The children loved becoming “Legacy Protectors”, learning about migration, resilience, community, diversity and the importance of remembering and celebrating Black British history.
Children and staff alike thought the experience was absolutely brilliant! A fantastic way to bring history to life and celebrate the importance of inclusion and multicultural Britain.
