Black History Month

This morning, Big foot productions visited Reception classrooms for an interactive story telling workshop as part of our Black History Month programme. The children listened to a story about a girl who came to London to help rebuild the country, they acted out parts of the story, took part in songs and actions, repeated stem sentences using actions and played hide and seek. They finished off by whispering their own story to ‘magic leaves’ and dropped them into a magic story bag. They had GREAT fun!
