School Tours

Prospective parents are most welcome to visit our school.  Tours will take place on a Thursday morning at 9.30am and last for approximately one hour. To arrange a tour, please contact the school office during term time, by telephone on 020 8868 2961 or by email: office@st-johnfisher.harrow.sch.uk.

How to Apply

Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 will start primary school in September 2024.  The application process for this cohort will open in September 2023.  The closing date to apply is 15th January 2024.

Applicants must complete the Local Authority (LA) Common Application Form (CAF). They should also complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF). The Certificate of Catholic Practice (CoCP) is to be completed by the Parish Priest where you attend Mass. The CAF allows you to nominate up to six schools in order of preference. You should submit only one CAF by the specified date of return. If you submit more than one CAF the last CAF received will withdraw an earlier submitted CAF.

Failure to complete and return both the CAF and SIF by the closing date may affect the priority accorded to your application by the Local Governing Body. The SIF and CoCP should be returned directly to the school office together with the child’s baptismal certificate.

The Local Governing Body (LGB)

The LGB will consider all applications for admission to the school in accordance with this Admissions Policy and Oversubscription Criteria. The LGB intends to admit no more than a total of 90 pupils into its Reception Classes in any school year. Parents should be aware that the school regularly receives more applications than the number of places available and that the submission of an application does not guarantee the offer of a place at the school.

If you did not apply before the closing date you can still apply for a school place, however your application will be considered late and will be processed in April 2024. Please click on the E Admissions link below and follow the instructions to apply as a late application.

Offers made for 2023/24 Reception places

Last year, the first round of offers were made to applicants according to the admissions and oversubscription criteria 1 - 8 in our Admissions Policy 2023/24, (this policy is located below in our In-Year applications section).  In the last round of offers, the school was able to offer a place to children in criteria 9, who resided up to 1.76 miles from the school.
