Our Reception children have been hard at work

This week is a National Space week, Reception children are learning all about Space!
Reception children had lots of fun acting out the story Whatever Next! They also got creative making their own rockets, practised drawing shapes in cornflour and enjoyed lots of fun subitising activities in Maths!

Exploring Our Senses!
This week, the Reception children have been busy exploring their senses using a variety of exciting objects and materials. They enjoyed feeling, looking and talking about what they noticed, using lots of wonderful descriptive language.
The children also practised their scissor skills by cutting toilet rolls. This fun activity helped to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence.
Lots of fantastic hands-on learning and exploring!
