This week, Reception are learning all about Hinduism and the festival of Diwali!

The children have been busy exploring the Festival of Lights through lots of exciting, creative activities!

Creating their own beautiful Rangoli patterns using shapes

Making colourful firework pictures

Discovering the wonderful story of Rama and Sita

What a lovely way to learn about different faiths, cultures and traditions while having lots of fun!

Reception enjoyed their very first orienteering session!

Linking with their RE learning about emotions , the children worked together to find and match each emotion to the correct Zone of Regulation.

They had a fantastic time exploring, learning and working as a team!

Year 4 Child-Led Worship

We are so proud of our Year 4 children who took the lead in worship today!

The children showed fantastic confidence, teamwork and leadership as they shared their thoughts, reflections and prayers with one another.

It was wonderful to see them taking ownership of this special time together and encouraging everyone to reflect on our school values.

This afternoon, Year 6 were delighted to welcome Fr Francis for a special workshop all about Baptism.

The children explored the signs and symbols of this important sacrament , making thoughtful links to our RE learning about ‘original sin’ and the teachings of scripture.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding, ask questions and reflect on the significance of Baptism in our Catholic faith.

We are incredibly grateful to Fr Francis for giving up his time to visit us – it is always an absolute pleasure to have him with us!
