Lincolnsfield Centre WWII Experience

Year 6 had an excellent day today, at the Lincolnsfield Centre in Bushey. They experienced a journey back in time to the 1940s! They learnt about different military artefacts, including what was carried by US soldiers, how houses looked in the 1940s and how to use a mangle, what school was like for children and those evacuated, digging for victory and the Blitz. It was a brilliant day which all children loved. A massive thank you to the Lincolnsfield Centre’s volunteers who made this wonderful trip possible.
