Sing Education

At St. John Fisher we are proud to work in partnership with Sing Education to deliver a high-quality, engaging, and inclusive music curriculum for all pupils from Early Years through to Year 6.
Our Music curriculum is designed to provide children with regular opportunities for active music-making, supporting them to develop as confident performers, composers, and listeners. Lessons are practical and accessible, enabling all pupils to take part, explore their creativity, and build their musical skills over time.
The curriculum is carefully structured to ensure clear progression across key areas of musical learning, including:

•    performing - singing and instrumental work
•    listening and appraising
•    composing and improvising
•    developing musical knowledge and understanding
