Reception and Year 6 Buddies

Today, our Reception and Year 6 buddies enjoyed their final session together, bringing a wonderful year of friendship to a close.
From sharing stories and laughter to supporting one another through fun activities , our buddies have built such special bonds throughout the year. It has been lovely to see the care, kindness and encouragement our Year 6 children have shown, helping our youngest pupils feel happy, confident and part of our school family.
As we said our goodbyes, there were plenty of smiles and a few emotional moments too. We are so proud of our amazing Year 6s and know they will continue to be wonderful role models as they begin their next adventure.
Thank you to all of our Reception and Year 6 buddies for making this year so special. We know these friendships and memories will be treasured for years to come.

Year 6 Buddy Visit
Our Reception pupils had a wonderful time when their Year 6 buddies visited to celebrate Christmas! They loved spending time together, creating festive baubles, sharing smiles, and spreading lots of Christmas cheer. It was heartwarming to see these special friendships shine during such a joyful time of year.

Today was a truly heart-warming moment at St John Fisher as our wonderful Year 6 students met their Reception buddies for the very first time! There were smiles, stories, and even a few shy giggles as our oldest and youngest pupils began building the special friendships that will grow throughout the year.
