They enjoyed practising addition with no exchange while navigating their way around the orienteering course.

Year 4 Maths Meets Orienteering!

Year 4 have been taking their maths learning outdoors! They had great fun using orienteering while practising subtracting 4-digit numbers with one exchange.

The children worked brilliantly together , using their problem-solving skills to navigate their way around the course and tackle each maths challenge!

What a fantastic way to combine maths, teamwork and physical activity!

Our Year 4 children have been busy exploring numbers up to 1,000 using place value counters!

They have been developing their understanding of hundreds, tens and ones through lots of practical learning. Fantastic maths work, Year 4!
