Year 4 enjoyed their final session of Tag Rugby with the Saracens Foundation in the sunshine yesterday the children put all their new skills to the test in a friendly game!

What an incredible day at the Harrow Tag Rugby Tournament!

Our tag rugby team played absolutely brilliantly today, reaching the semi-finals after a fantastic run of matches. Out of 5 games, they won 3, drew 1, and lost just 1 - and that was to the eventual tournament winners! For many of the children, this was their very first experience of playing competitive rugby, which makes this achievement even more impressive. They showed outstanding teamwork, resilience, determination and true sportsmanship throughout the day. Every single player should be so proud of themselves! A huge well done to Oisin, who was chosen as Mr P’s Player of the Day and to Apolline and James, our joint Players Player of the Day. We couldn’t be more proud of the whole squad. What a team effort!

This half term we are welcoming The Saracens Foundation to our school. They are working each week with a Year 4 class to develop their Rugby skills. We look forward to a Mini Tag Rugby Festival where these skills will be put to use as the children compete against the other primary schools in our trust.
