Neville Ransley, a Foundation Governor of St John Fisher School for sixteen years as well as previously Chair of the Governing Body and former Principal of St. Dominic’s Sixth Form College, recently passed away after a short illness. May he Rest in Peace.
Neville has contributed to education in Harrow for over thirty years as a teacher, senior leader and governor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was a man of great faith; Our Lord was always at the centre of his life. Please remember him and his wife Penny in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
May the souls of the faithful and faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace – Amen
As of 1st May 2019, with the approval of the Trustees of the Diocese of Westminster, St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, St. George’s Catholic Primary School, St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and The Sacred Heart Language College have joined together to form the Blessed Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust. This is an exciting opportunity providing us with the chance to create something new and special that will have a direct impact on the success of our pupils, today and for future generations, based on the foundations that we build.
Staff and some pupils attended a Community Mass celebrated by Bishop John Wilson to mark this occasion.
