Year 2 visited Woodlands today for their Forest School session.

In Forest School this week, Year 2 developed their understanding of seeds and parts of the plant and even had an adventure into woodlands to identify different plants.

Year 2 took part in their first Forest School session today and loved it . The theme is based on their science topic: plants and growing. They learnt the rules of forest school, created their wooden name medallions, dug up roots, learnt a flower song and created playdoh parts of a flower. They ended with a fire.
