National Poetry Day

To celebrate National Poetry Day, Year 5 created their very own poems inspired by Spike Milligan’s ‘On the Ning Nang Nong’.

We spent the morning practising our poems, focusing on rhythm, expression and performance , before confidently performing them to our peers.

What a wonderful way to celebrate creativity, language and the joy of poetry!
