Today in Design and Technology, Year 3 have learnt how to do a running stitch!
They carefully threaded their needles and got straight to work. Everyone showed amazing focus and patience . It was a bit tricky at first, but they didn’t give up! They really enjoyed practising their sewing skills and can’t wait to try cross stitch next week!
December 2024
Year 3 enjoyed using the new cooking room this morning. They put their culinary skills to the test and had great fun making seasonal tarts to end their DT unit!
November 2024
Later this half term, Year 3 will be making their own seasonal vegetable tarts. They are currently in the design stage so have spent time today tasting the vegetables to help them decide on the perfect recipe.
