July 2026
Our Year 3 children have been learning all about Romania in their Geography topic this half term!
To celebrate the end of the topic, they welcomed parents to a showcase where they shared interesting facts about Romania , proudly displayed their impressive DT castles inspired by Romanian architecture, and even performed some traditional Romanian dancing . All children were invited to wear their own traditional clothes to celebrate the rich diversity of the year group
A huge well done to all of our Year 3 pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm! Thank you parents/carers for joining us.

Year 3 have begun their exciting new Geography topic: Romania!
In our first lesson, we explored the continent of Europe and discovered our very first similarity between England and Romania – both countries are located in the same continent!
We used maps to locate Romania within Europe and investigated the countries that border it. We also developed our map skills by colouring different European countries and identifying their capital cities.
We can’t wait to discover more about Romania over the coming weeks!
