As part of their History topic, Year 4 stepped back in time to explore why the Roman army was so successful! The children learnt Latin military commands, practised the famous wedge formation, and worked together to research the organisation, discipline and tactics that made the Roman army so powerful.

Today, Year 4 stepped back in time at the Verulamium Museum in St Albans to enrich our topic all about the Romans! Exploring fascinating galleries and authentic artefacts - the children had the chance to see history come to life before their eyes. A truly fun and unforgettable day!
