True Meaning of Pentecost

This afternoon, Fr. Axcel joined us for our whole school Pentecost Liturgy. It was very special to be able to all worship together and with the sun shining too!

Today we celebrated the True Meaning of Pentecost. It was lovely for children to work with children in different year groups and create together. Year 1 also learnt about Pope Francis as a Pentecostal person. Year 5 learnt about the fruits of the Holy Spirit, they created their own artwork to represent Pentecost and they have shared some time with Year 2 pupils to learn about the fruits of the Holy Spirit and make kites to symbolise the wind and the fire.
