Parent View

At St John Fisher, the Leadership team value parent feedback. We carry out our own parent survey (based on Ofsted's parent survey) bi-annually and we use parent feedback to actively make changes. Parents are also welcome to share their views via Parent View.

Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of us, including:

 - how happy your child is at school

 - how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), it will ask how well we support them.

The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until we are inspected.

Ofsted will use parent responses to help plan inspections. The information you provide can:

- inform discussions inspectors have with school leaders during an inspection

 - help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school

In addition to this, Ofsted also publish the overall summary of the responses to Ofsted Parent View. This information is anonymised.

The school would like to think that parents would be keen to share the positive experiences that the children are receiving and that any concern you might have about your child's education would and should be shared with the school directly before it is shared with Ofsted as per our complaints policy.
