This week in DT, Year 1 designed the base of what will become a paper cup windmill!

The children enjoyed adding key features such as doors and windows and got creative with colours , shapes and patterns to make their designs unique. They can’t wait to see their finished windmills come to life!

Our Year 1 children looked so dapper today, dressed in their finest clothes for our DT Showcase!

They proudly showed their moving image recreation of the Empire Windrush arriving at the docks, inspired by Coming to England.

The children also created the national flower of Trinidad and finished the day by sharing scones like kings and queens!

We are so proud of their hard work and creativity!
