Hertfordshire Zoo

Today, linked to our Science topic ‘Animals’, Year 1 spent the day at Hertfordshire Zoo. It was a great opportunity for the children to spot the carnivores and herbivores. They also visited the ‘World of Dinosaurs’, and saw tigers, jaguars, leopards, birds of prey, camels, zebras, a range of monkeys, reptiles, penguins and many more amazing animals. There was even time to play in the playgrounds; the weather was glorious too! Thank you to the parents who accompanied us too!
