Goldilocks and the Three Bears

To complete their learning on Goldilocks, Reception children have used junk modelling to make beds for Goldilocks, kept a tally to check how many of children liked / disliked porridge, written sorry letters using their phonic knowledge and developed their computer skills whilst drawing pictures.

This week Reception children’s traditional tale is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have been writing ‘sorry’ letters, they have sorted pictures by their size and measured them using cubes, they’ve learnt facts about George Seurat and painted pictures using the method ‘Pointillism’, they also made puppets of the characters and explored porridge in the tuff spot.
