This afternoon, Year 5 and 6 children celebrated a Liturgy led by Father Graham dedicated to our Patron Saint.

Today, our school community celebrated the feast day of our patron saint, St John Fisher. A man of great faith, wisdom and courage, St John Fisher stood firm in his beliefs and values, even when it wasn’t easy. His example reminds us of the importance of standing up for what is right and staying true to our gospel values. As part of today’s celebrations, the children have been invited to reflect on their own lives and think about times when they have shown courage. In doing so, they are living out the mission of our school and following in the footsteps of St John Fisher! Happy St John Fisher Day!

Ahead of the feast day of St John Fisher on Sunday 22nd June , Year 4 attended Mass with the parishioners to celebrate the feast day and also to present a gift from the school- a beautiful pilgrims of hope mosaic made by the children.
