Year 3 completed the final stage of their DT project today. They made their seasonal tarts.

Year 3 have been busy in DT! This week we explored a range of seasonal vegetables as part of our Cooking & Nutrition unit. The children tasted tomatoes, spinach, carrots and colourful peppers while learning to describe flavour and texture using new vocabulary. They can’t wait to cook our own seasonal tarts soon!

Year 3 DT Fun! Year 3 have been busy developing their peeling and chopping skills this week as part of their DT unit on cooking seasonal tarts! The children loved getting hands-on with fresh ingredients and practising their safe cutting techniques. Such fantastic little chefs in the making!
