Black History Month
October 2025
Today, Hannah and Adrian shared a powerful and engaging Big Foot Production with the children in Years 1-6, as part of our Black History Month celebrations. Through drama, storytelling and music, they brought important moments from history to life, helping the children understand the significance of equality, resilience and cultural identity. The performances encouraged thoughtful discussion and reflection, inspiring the children to celebrate diversity and the contributions of Black individuals throughout history and today.

In Year 4, children researched significant individuals of Black and Mixed Heritage to celebrate Black History Month. They’ve started to share their research about these inspirational figures and will continue with this after half term.
