As part of our work on The Town Mouse and Country Mouse, the children prepared and tasted cheese straws, developing fine motor skills, understanding of food hygiene and safety, the ability to follow a simple recipe, and confidence in trying new foods.

Our Reception children have been busy little bakers this week! They had lots of fun making delicious gingerbread, mixing, rolling and baking together. The baking smelt and tasted delicious!
