Understanding the World - Reception children learned and discussed facts about the four seasons. Then, they created a weather map and pictures of spring, summer, autumn and Wibter. They also explored forces by testing cars on ramps with various materials and different-sized cars.

This week, as part of understanding of the world topic, Reception children are learning about the past and present. The children were asked to bring in photos of themselves as babies and share them with their classmates (lots of laughter). They drew pictures of themselves as babies and now.
