Children's Mental Health Week
February 2026
Across the school, children celebrated the end of Children’s Mental Health Week by enjoying the Mind and Move Festival. The day focused on sharing positive messages with friends by being ‘bucket fillers’, playing parachute games, and identifying what makes each of them unique and special. The children especially enjoyed wearing their PJs or comfy clothes, while also raising money for the Mollie Rose Foundation.

Year 3 and Year 4 had a wonderful time taking part in an uplifting activity called 'Bags of Happiness' as part of Children’s Mental Health Week. Each child filled their bag with post‑its, stickers and pencils—small but meaningful items generously gifted by the Molly Rose Foundation.
The activity encouraged pupils to reflect on what brings them joy, celebrate positive moments, and share kindness with others. It was a simple, creative way to spark conversations about wellbeing and remind everyone that even tiny acts of happiness can make a big difference.
