In art, Year 6 pupils took part in a timed partner portrait activity, where they first created an initial drawing within a set time and then reviewed and improved their work. This encouraged careful observation, reflection and resilience. The session was full of creativity and enthusiasm, with plenty of laughter along the way.
September 2025
In art, Year 6 have begun a new topic, ‘Exploring Form Through Drawing’. They rose to the challenge of sketching their hands using a continuous line technique - a tricky skill that they tackled with focus and creativity. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they refined their work.
