Today, Year 3 became scientists with expertise in magnetism!
They embarked on an important investigation to answer an enquiry question: Are all metals magnetic? Using magnets, they carouselled around the classroom testing different materials — including silver, gold, copper, steel, and aluminium. Along the way, they used their working scientifically skills to predict , observe closely , and record our data like real experts . Their classroom was full of curiosity, discovery, and magnetic excitement! they can’t wait for the next scientific adventure!

Year 3 Scientists in Action!
This week, the children have investigated the enquiry question: “Does the material on the ramp affect the distance the car travels?” Using their working scientifically skills, the children made predictions, tested different surfaces, measured carefully, and recorded their data. Lots of fun, teamwork, and curiosity as they explored the effects of friction in a hands-on way!
