Well done to all the children for the wonderful entries we had for our Harrow Remembrance Poetry Competition. The entries were judged by the author Michael Rosen.
Our entries were very successful. We won the keystage 2 competition and we were also highly commended in keystage 2 and key stage 1. These children were invited to attend the Borough Remembrance Parade and Service, where they read out their poems and met the mayor.
All of our entries were read and appreciated, and awards were made to the following children:
Joint Best in year 2: Mila (2S)
Goncalo (2S)
Joint best in Year 3: Ashfi (3R)
Grace (3S)
Best in Year 4: Ciara Marie (4S)
Best in Year 5: Luca (5C)
Best in Year 6: Kacper (6S)
Our winning poems and many other entries will be displayed in the library shortly.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
