October is International Walk to School Month which is supported in over 40 different countries. We will begin our Walk Once a Week Charts (WoW) and children will receive a badge for regular walking to school. We are also going to support the ‘Brighten Your Bag’ Be Safe, Be Seen, Be Bright! campaign in which children are invited to decorate their school bags with something bright so that they can be seen as our evenings begin to draw in. Class teachers will reward the seriously good attempts.
