Visit to the Houses of Parliament
On Thursday 3rd October, KS2 School Council Representatives visited the Houses of Parliament. Pupils had a tour of the Palace of Westminster and took part in a workshop. The workshop began with an introduction to the levels at which the UK is governed and explored the responsibilities and decisions made at local, regional, national and European level. Pupils focused on the different ways in which the public can influence decision makers. All pupils represented the school extremely well and are looking forward to sharing the experience with their peers!
