Year 6 attended Mass at St John Fisher Catholic Church today, a holy day of obligation marking The Epiphany. At the end of Mass all children received a piece of blessed chalk as a gift. Whilst not quite as a grand as the gifts left for our Lord from the 3 wise men, they were symbolic. Children were encouraged to use them to write a blessing on the brick work of their own homes using the chalk. Some of the children served in the Mass and all enjoyed the singing and the opportunity for prayer and reflection. Thank you Father Graham for having us.
