The Daily Mile and the Harris and Trotter Charitable Trust
Last week all children took part in ‘The Daily Mile.’ We asked families to raise their own sponsorship money for taking part in this activity that promotes positive mental health and well-being. We are participating in this activity to raise money for a wonderful cause that is close to the heart of the St John Fisher family. A member of our community is being helped by this charity; the monies raised by us will help to pay for the treatment of another cancer patient.
The children and staff really enjoyed getting outside to run together with their friends.
Luckily, the weather was on our side and all classes managed to get out every day.
Many thanks to our families for their generosity, together we have raised an amazing £4022.75 for the Harris and Trotter Charitable Trust.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
