Year 5 Poetry Slam
The children in Year 5 performed the poems that they had written in their English lessons for their Poetry Slam. The children had written collaboratively in groups of 3 and 4 and demonstrated their passion and concern for a wide range of issues including pollution, climate change, BLM and of course the current pandemic. It was a wonderful to see the children expressing their thoughts and opinions creatively through their words and actions.
Well done to all of them for learning their words and for performing so well.
