Curriculum Refresh for September 2023/24

At Sing Education, we pride ourselves on our bespoke curriculum, designed to provide children with active music-making and progressive musical learning from Early Years through to the end of year 6. We are currently working on a big update to our Music Curriculum with a full refresh for 2023/24, with some immediate changes taking place this summer term. 

Along with feedback from school leaders and music leads, as well as reflecting on what we are experiencing in schools, we have highlighted some key areas for improvement. We have reworked our long term planning to be fully in line with the Model Music Curriculum and we are now following these key focus areas:
