To mark Women in Science Day, children heard from one of our parents who’s amazing job at Great Ormond Street hospital allows her to help children with hearing and balance. She spoke about all the therapies the hospital has in place to raise the spirits of poorly children. The children were able to ask many questions about being a doctor and what it entails. It was lovely to see how passionate she was and to hear that anyone can consider a career in medicine or reach their academic and life goals if they work hard.
