On Thursday 22nd February, eight Year 6 pupils took part in a six-a-side football tournament at The Hive in Edgware. The team progressed through the group stage as group winners after victories against Pinner Park (1-0) and St Bernadette’s (5-1) and a draw against Grimsdyke (2-2). After a closely fought victory against Camrose (1-0) in the quarter final, the team sadly lost in the semi-finals to St Joseph’s in a penalty shoot-out. Well done to: Cian McGrath-Brown, Morgan Ducran, Alex Wilson, Pierce Long, Alex Hipwell, Verrell George, Joseph Evans and Harry Perkins. Thank you to Mr Kelly and Mr O’Brien for coaching the pupils so well and to Miss Lucas for organising this opportunity for the pupils.
