On Tuesday, we went to Watford FC’s training ground to take part in our biggest tournament so far. We were really excited to play in Watford’s 4G dome and were hoping to see some professional players. We were off to a great start with a convincing 2-0 (Loucas x 2) victory in our first game so we felt confident. We drew our next game 1-1 (Loucas) and knew we had to do better. We then went on to win 2-1 (Joe and Loucas), 2-0 (Jayden and Dylan), 1-0 (Loucas), 1-0 (Jayden) and 4-0 (Joe, Loucas, Ronan Ca x2) in our final game of the group. We went through to the semi-finals which we unfortunately lost 3-0 to a very strong team from Hertfordshire. We were gutted to lose in the semis but proud that we go that far. Well done to all the boys who played: Aaron K, Michael, Daniel, Ronan Ca, Dylan D ©, Jayden, Joe and Loucas. A special well done to Loucas who was top goal scorer and Ronan Ca who was voted as Man of the Tournament. Thank you to Mr Betts for driving and Mr Cabey for coaching us.
