On Friday 14th June 2019, the Catholic Life Ambassadors joined with Harrow Catholic schools at Page Centre for a retreat day. The theme was based on ‘We are called to be Saints’. We took part in different activities relating to what Pope Frances said about us all being called to be saints. We were split into different groups to include at least one person from each school. Our first task was to create a saint and draw them and include what they would be the saint of and what traits they would have. We then had to present our saint to the rest of the group. Our next task was making a stained glass window. Again we had to think about ourselves as a saint and create the window around that. When we finished our windows we took them into the Church and pupils from St Anselm’s read out a parable about how we can be a pencil in the hand of God. We then joined in prayer. It was a wonderful morning.
