On Wednesday, 13 pupils from Year 5 represented St John Fisher at the Saints Gymnastics competition at Harrow Gymnastics Club. Although the team had worked tirelessly for weeks to ensure their routines were perfect, nerves were running extremely high, as for many children it was their first time competing. All members of the team performed brilliantly and conducted themselves very well. The A Team were awarded fourth in their competition and the B Team were awarded third in their competition. Well done to all of the children who took part: Niamh, Aoife, Nicole, Anne-Marie, Callie, Orla, Ana, Lara, Scarlett, Jeffrey, Matthew, Savanah and Jessica. We are all so proud of you! A massive thank you to Samuel, a Year 6 sports leader, who gave up his own time to help the team every week. We couldn’t have done it without you.
