Each class was invited to sign up to a one off First Aid session tailored to the specific year group. The sessions will be run by Mrs Ruddy, our school Welfare Officer.
This week, Mrs Ruddy began teaching in Year 3. We talked about ways to keep safe and how to help those who require first aid. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the session and look forward to her visiting again. The children were able to suggest things they would like to be taught and they have discussed some very sensible ideas such as CPR, medicine and bandages.
