Message from Pope Francis:
‘It is our duty to work together to bring about a more just and peaceful world: to put ‘Love into Action’
During our recent Enterprise fortnight the classes joined together in their year groups to raise money for different charities. Each year group chose their own fund raising idea - so activities ranged from cake sales and decorating biscuits to discos and stationery sales!
Children learnt about how the fund raising process works and were involved in discussions about profit and expenses.
Many thanks to the parents who supported this venture by buying stock and baking cakes to sell.
The chosen charities were - Motor Neurone Disease, CAFOD, Buburi Clinic and the SOS Bulawayo Orphanage in Zimbabwe.
Thanks to the generosity of our parents and staff we raised the amazing total of £1,397.09 for our chosen charities.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
