Yesterday, we travelled to Cannon Lane to play our second league game of the season. We travelled there with high hopes after our 3-1 victory in our first game. Cannon Lane were an extremely strong, skilful and tough team and we had to battle hard physically and mentally. Both teams had some great chances but both goalkeepers made tremendous saves…thanks Aaron! The game ended as a 0-0 draw which was a fair result and a well-earned point. Michael was chosen as man of the match as he made some excellent challenges and dominated the defence. Well done to: Aaron, Joe, Max, Michael, Ronan Ca, James, Daniel, Dylan (C), Jayden, Loucas and Ronan Cu. Thank you to Mr Betts for driving the minibus and Mr O’Brien and Miss Betts for coaching us every week. Thanks to Miss Lucas for supporting us. We are now looking forward to our next game on Tuesday against Pinner Wood. Wish us luck!
