Our Year 6 children and staff spent a wonderful five days at Osmington Bay PGL Activity Centre. During their stay they took part in many exciting challenges. The children had the opportunity to experience a wide range of sporting activities such as abseiling, archery, outdoor climbing and the zip wire. There was also a focus on science, allowing the children to do rock pooling, mini beast hunting and investigating fossils.
This was an opportunity for the children to participate in activities that promoted team work and helped to build confidence away from home. Staff and children thoroughly enjoyed working together in a different environment.
Many thanks to Mrs Cokayne, Mrs Baxter, Miss Durrant, Mr Bray, Mr O’Brien, Mr Sherrif, Mrs Dick and Miss O’Connor who arranged the trip and supported the children throughout the week.
A very rewarding and tiring week for everyone!
