A very big well done to Eesa Hameed in class 2S who won the Key Stage 1 prize for his remembrance poem. Eesa was invited to attend the Harrow Remembrance Day Parade at Harrow Civic Centre where he met the Mayor of Harrow and Dorothy Pope, a local poet who selected the winners. Eesa was a wonderful representative of our school and confidently read his poem to assembled dignitaries in the Mayor's Chamber.
Thinking about Friends
It was a Wednesday when I left mey old school
I missed all my friends
I knew I could invite them to my house one day
Friendship never ends.
It was a Thursday when I started my new school
I made lots of new friends
I felt like I was winning
Friendship is just beginning
In November it will be my birthday
I will have old and new friends there
I will invite them together
Friendship is always fair
