During Anti-Bullying Week, we celebrated the theme ‘All Equal, All Different.’
Over the course of the week, children discussed and completed activities based on this theme. We then shared our activities during Friday’s celebration assembly.
Year 1 made ‘Who am I?’ books – a great guessing game for all the class thinking about ways in which they are different. Year 2 focused on friendship and what it means to be a good friend. Year 3 made anti-bullying posters, discussing the forms that bullying can take and how we are all unique and must rejoice in this. Year 4 sang an anti-bullying song and came up with some actions to go along side it. Year 5 shared their football shirts that showed how they were all different because they enjoyed different things, but were all equal too. Year 6 used performing arts to create a drama alongside a selected piece of music.
Many thanks to Mrs Montgomerie for her work in planning such an interesting week and to all the staff for their support. It was a wonderful week, enjoyed by all.
