On Thursday 6th July, thirteen Year Six pupils took part in the ‘All Britain Championships’ Gaelic Football Tournament. For many of the children it was the biggest tournament they had ever played in, with over 300 children competing from all over Great Britain. All of the children showed excellent team spirit, determination and skill. After some fantastic wins in the group stage, they qualified for the knockout rounds and managed to reach the semi-final, which they sadly lost in a close fought battle. Well done to: Edward McCormack, Caolán McLaughlin, Jude Jarrett, Jason Odo, Arrun Sahota, Fionn Doheny, Richard Garcia-Kelleher, Izzy Thompson, Sofia Fugaccia, Grace Ruddy, Nadine O’Sullivan, Kai Tertullien and Arthur Moran. You should all be very proud of yourselves, keep up the hard work!
